Blair on Broadway

Blair on Broadway is a satirical, musical retrospective of the Blair decade: everything from Blair's Babes to George Bush, a rapping Jeremy Paxman to a juggling Cherie Blair.

Following a sold-out run at the Hen and Chickens, Islington, in Autumn 2007 - and a sold-out West End gala night in aid of the charity, Children of Peace - it is transferring to the Arts Theatre, off Leicester Square, for three weeks in January 2008. The cast remains the same; the format is new and improved. You can find out more information about prices and times under Book Tickets.

Blair on Broadway was written by the novelist, Iain Hollingshead, and the BBC World Service journalist, Timothy Muller. Timothy wrote the music; Iain wrote most of the words.

"Hollingshead's book and lyrics are satirically spot on: he sashays past the Alastair Campbell-crafted highs of Blair's ascent to power with joyous ease... Jessica Dawes directs her talented cast with air-tight precision and Joshua Martin's Blair is a show-stealing triumph." - Metro

"This show is huge fun." - Matthew Parris, The Times

"An unmissable evening in the theatre - funny, provocative and scintillatingly performed by a vigorous, young, talented company." - Sir Derek Jacobi

Joshua Martin proves a fine Blair-alike, with voice and gestures spot on and a pleasant singing voice to boot... Director Jessica Dawes gives her 10-strong cast some nifty choreography." - Evening Standard

"Muller's eclectic tunes, from rap to ballad, are catchy and appealing." - The Stage

"Done with flair and care." - Sunday Express

"Witty book and lyrics by Iain Hollingshead... a lively score by Timothy Muller... an ebullient all-singing, all-dancing cast of ten... a pitch-perfect performance from Joshua Martin... a real touch of comic inspiration about Chris Cambridge's bumbling Gordon Brown... it is a show that packs some punch." - Daily Telegraph
